Description : This course harkens back to Cabaret and Burlesque style chair dance! These sessions are great for beginners or intermediate folks alike who want to learn from the ground up or hone their foundation skills to a new level. Learn classic and fun chair specific movements with sassy and dynamic choreography flows every week!
What to bring and consider : This level of movement will include inverting and moving upside down on the chair as well as some floor work transitions – so back, neck or wrist injuries should be considered. Shoes (ballroom, pleasers or heels with a strap) are welcome but not necessary. If no shoes are chosen, please bring socks to allow your feet to slide with ease. If knees are sensitive, please consider knee pads. For easy transitions, please also consider wearing leggings or crops instead of shorts.
This movement style is based in exploration of sensuality and sexuality along with the celebration of one’s embodiment of such energy.

These 4 week sessions are designed to be a restorative and renewing way of moving, divided into 3 parts : Pilates, Stretch and Low Impact Floor Flow this course is designed with limited mobility, and limited space in mind! This course is also designed to be for all levels – from just remobilizing your core and finding a hint of abs to more advanced movers who want to work on stabilizing and refreshing the fundamentals of floor work. Join Lola to build a stable foundation of function and strength, then drip and swim your way through gooey floor combinations!
Please bring: a mat, a water bottle, and an extra towel or small blanket if your spine is super sensitive. Knee pads are highly encouraged / recommended but leg warmers will also help.

These classes aim to create a space to get grounded and centred, we will explore the softness in ourselves with a nourishing and unhurried series of movements and stretches that tap into feeding our nervous system with tenderness and calm.
What to bring / consider : Wear comfortable movement clothing, bring a water bottle and a mat, perhaps something warm like a sweater or tea as well as any props you see fit for yourself (blocks, a strap or pillow).
